- Tony Ryan interested in doing music lessons in the school. Teachers
to discuss times
- NEPS reported that they are unable to provide an ed.
psychologist to replace Rita Fitzgerald until after Xmas.
- Patricia Tolan resigned as Treasurer.
- Numbers below retention level for next year.
- Áine Farrell appointed for Breda’s maternity leave
- Garda vetting for parents who give lifts underway.
- Leaking skylight being investigated by Diarmaid Ó
Súilleabháin. He has already repaired the slates and barges.
- Joe Breen grassed the side of the school and the area under
the prefabs. He also made good the area at the front of the school. He is due
to finish the reception desk soon. Boiler room is still proving an issue.
- Water leak being investigated by Michael Shiggins.
- Jim Sludds finished up as caretaker.
- The use of sub-committees to be investigated for next
meeting – finance and building/repair especially. New Treasurer needed.
- Vote of thanks made for the work of Patricia and Fr. Jim.
- Fr. John will try and recruit a new Treasurer.
- Thank you cards and vouchers to be given to Patricia and Fr.
Jim. Children to make a poster for Fr. Jim.
- Fr. John called in to visit the school and talk to the
children. Everybody very happy with this parish/school collaboration.
- Next meeting is Tuesday 25th October at 7.30 pm.
